Sac State Men’s Club Volleyball finished in 3rd place at Cal’s Preseason Tournament last Saturday. The Hornets went 1-1 in pool play to qualify for the afternoon’s gold bracket play. Gold bracket was double elimination at this year’s tournament and Sac State fell to Davis in the first round. Sac State then playing through the elimination bracket and fell to Cal in the last match before the finals. After placing 3rd, the championship finals were played by the two teams that defeated the Hornets, UC Davis and UC Berkeley.

The Hornet Men will next host a preseason tournament December 1st in Yosemite Hall.

Schedules for the 2013 season have been posted for both the DI and DII Men’s Club Volleyball teams. The DI team will host 4 home matches over the packed season. The DII team will open the season 1/19-20/2013 with their 2 home matches of the season. You can view each team’s schedule from the tabs at the top of the screen.

The 2013 Women’s Club Volleyball schedule will be posted as soon as possible.

Information for the 2012 Sacramento Invitational has been posted!

How much: $150 per team. Up to 8 players on a roster and there will be prizes for the winners in each division
