- 2010, Sacramento State Men’s Club Volleyball turns 30!
- 2009, The Sacramento State Women have a player named to a National All Tournament Team for the first time.
- 2005 marks the 25th year of competition for the Men’s Club Volleyball Team, while the women look to improve on their success at the NIRSA championships.
- 2003, Weidi Zhang, after 15 years at the helm, retires from coaching Collegiate Club Volleyball.
- 2002 Sacramento State formed a women’s club team to compete during the league season as well as the National Championships.
- 2001, Sacramento State sent two men’s teams for the first time to compete for a NIRSA National Championship.
- 1997, Sacramento State wins a second NIRSA National Championship.
- 1995, Sacramento State wins it’s first NIRSA National Championship!
- 1988, Weidi Zhang starts as coach of the men’s team.
- 1986, The first Sacramento State player was named to a National All Tournament Team.
- 1980 celebrated the birth of Club Volleyball at Sac State. This team was coached by volleyball guru, Gary Colberg.
